The story would of changed because Roscuro, Mig, and Princess Pea would of never been found. The reason I think that is because Roscuro was gonna do something bad to Princess Pea and if Desperaux would not of been there I think something bad was going to happen. I think King Philip did the right thing of trusting Desperaux maybe nobody would of found them.
The king might have sent knights down to follow Desperaux and the ending might have been something like Desperaux gets a medal of honor and the king would let mice to live in the kingdom and the mice might start making the law where the mice are allowed to ineract with humans. The mice did not make that law though so I am guessing Desperaux will not talk with the other mice.
The story would have changed because Roscuro,Mig,and the Princess Pea may have never been found.I think that because Rocuro was going to do something bad to Princess Pea and if Despereaux was not there Rocuro was going to do that bad thing.I think King Philip did the right thing to trust Despereaux and if he didn't that bad the may have been to kill her and the king's daughter may have died but sense he did trust Despureaux Princess Pea is safe and if the King didn't trust Despereaux nobody would have found Mig,Princess Pea, and Rocuro for year and years and years and year and well you all know what I mean.Right?
I think the story would change if the king believed Desperaux by the king sending his men to look for her in the dungeon. The kings men would've NEVER find princess pea!
The story would of change because if the king would of belived him he would of not sent him to the dungeon and gloryis quest wouldn't of happened
