Yes I believe that he shouldn't have been forgiven for sending his son to the dungeon I agree with you Noe and Orlando,but he was only doing it for the community. He thought he was doing the right thing.
I don't think that he he should forgive him because the reason that Despereaux was in the dungeon because he was different he was being himself and I just don't think that he should forgive him because it is okay to be different.
